Former mayor Vadim Bulavinov found a giant porcini mushroom — photo

      Former mayor of Nizhny Novgorod and current State Duma deputy from the region, Vadim Bulavinov, shared an unusual find on social media — he discovered a huge porcini mushroom in the forest.

      In the published photo it can be seen that the mushroom cap is significantly larger in diameter than the blade of the knife the deputy used to compare sizes.

      According to Bulavinov, he went mushroom picking in the vicinity of the Borsky district, near the Kerzhensky Nature Reserve. It was there that he came across the impressive specimen.

      Social media users reacted enthusiastically to the post. In the comments one follower jokingly wrote, "A big mushroom for a big man."

      Earlier, mushroom pickers from the Nizhny Novgorod region shared photos of the results of their "quiet hunt."
