Two medics from the Nizhny Novgorod region have been recognized as the best in Russia.

      Two medical workers from the Nizhny Novgorod region were among the laureates of the All-Russian Doctors Competition 2025, organized by the Russian Ministry of Health.

      According to information on the ministry’s website, Nadezhda Kanishcheva took third place in the "Best Oncologist" category. She works at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Oncological Dispensary.

      Galina Smirnova brought another award to the region. She was awarded third place in the "Best Emergency Medical Service Physician" category. Smirnova works at the Privolzhsky District Medical Center of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency.

      Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod Polyclinic No. 4 received the highest rating under the federal standard.
