Six foreign nationals, including natives of Egypt, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, were expelled from the Russian Federation by court order. The deportation measures were carried out by officers of the special-purpose unit of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiffs Service for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

According to the agency, the basis for the expulsion were rulings issued by the court under part 1 of Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The violators did not have documents confirming the legality of their stay and employment in Russia.

Prior to being expelled, all six were held at the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Nationals, where they awaited the processing of the necessary procedural documents.

After all formalities were completed, the bailiffs escorted the migrants to border crossing points and handed them over to representatives of the Border Service of the FSB of Russia. Now, for the next five years, entry into the Russian Federation will be barred for the expelled individuals.

The regional FSSP administration noted that since the beginning of the current year more than 600 foreign nationals have been expelled from the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The vast majority of them are from the Near Abroad: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, as well as Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.

It was previously reported that two foreign nationals — from Turkey and the Gabonese Republic — were expelled from the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
