      Dmitry Poluektov has been appointed acting head of the local government of the Semyonovsky Municipal District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The district administration reported this on social media.

      It is noted that the corresponding order was signed by the region’s governor. According to the document, Poluektov officially assumed his new duties on September 1.

      Before this appointment he headed the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resource Use in the administration of the Semyonovsky Urban District.

      What happened to the previous head, Alexander Puchkov, has not been reported. At the time this news was published, the district’s website states that Puchkov is the head of the local government.

      Earlier it was reported that Oksana Kislitsyna was re-elected as Nizhny Novgorod’s Commissioner for Human Rights.
