      The State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, together with the Prosecutor's Office of the Sovetsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, conducted an inspection of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Nizhny Novgorod Ambulance Station." The results were shared by the supervisory authority's press service.

      The purpose of the inspection was to verify compliance with labor legislation requirements, in particular occupational safety regulations. According to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the employer is obliged to ensure safe working conditions, taking into account both the technical and organizational aspects of workplaces and the impact of the production environment and the nature of the work performed on employees' health.

      The inspection recorded serious violations. In particular, drivers were not provided with personal protective equipment. In addition, numerous discrepancies were found in the established procedures for training and testing knowledge of occupational safety among employees of various substations.

      These violations fall under articles of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and entail administrative liability. The inspection materials have already been forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office of the Sovetsky District for further review and decisions on bringing the guilty parties to account.

      The State Labor Inspectorate announced its intention to take enforcement measures in response to the violations.

      "One of the priority tasks of our service is to ensure compliance with and protection of citizens' labor rights, including the right to safe working conditions. I am personally monitoring the process of remedying the identified violations," said Ilya Moshes, head of the State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      It was previously reported that the Nizhny Novgorod Region's labor inspectorate organized the inspection after an attack on an employee of the Nizhny Novgorod "Magnit."
