Since the beginning of September 2025, an MFC chatbot integrated into the Russian messenger MAX has started operating in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The new digital tool allows residents of the region to interact with the multifunctional centers quickly and conveniently.
The initiative is being implemented under an order signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in July of this year. According to the approved "roadmap," regional IT services will be gradually integrated into the MAX messenger over the next six months.
Using the chatbot, users can make an appointment at an MFC, cancel an appointment, check the status of a request, and obtain information about working hours and branch addresses. In addition, there is a feature to rate the quality of services provided and the option to leave feedback or suggestions. All notifications come directly from the MFC's automated system.
As reported by Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Yegor Polyakov, using the chatbot allows people to request services at any time and from anywhere, which makes the process of obtaining public services significantly more convenient.
An additional feature is online consultation on MFC services. This became possible thanks to the integration of the CraftTalk platform with the MAX messenger.
According to the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, the MAX messenger provides a secure environment for communication and offers access to digital services from both the state and businesses. The entire platform infrastructure is located within the country, which guarantees reliable protection of users' personal data.
The MAX messenger is available for download on the App Store, Google Play, RuStore, AppGallery, and also as a desktop version.
The project for digitizing state and municipal services is being implemented as part of the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State," launched by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin on 1 January 2025.
Earlier it was reported that the authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod Region had developed a plan to integrate regional digital services with the Russian messenger MAX.
