      In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a court found a citizen of a foreign state guilty in a case of sexual acts against a child. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The investigation showed that on the evening of May 19, 2025, the man met an 11-year-old girl in a garage area next to Yubileiny Park in Kstovo. They were acquainted through correspondence on a social network, where he invited the child to meet, after which he committed unlawful acts.

      The court selected a preventive measure. The man was sentenced to 12 years and 3 months of imprisonment to be served in a maximum-security penal colony.
