A bypass road will be built near the town of Vyksa in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The Ministry of Urban Development Activities and Agglomeration Development of the region has issued permission to prepare a territory planning project for the construction of the western Vyksa bypass. The corresponding order was published on the agency's website.
Work will be carried out in the area of the work settlements Doschatoye, Blizhne-Pesochnoye, Shimorskoye and the village of Gryaznaya. The customer is the state treasury institution "Main Directorate of Highways". The project is financed from the regional budget.
The document approves the terms of reference for developing the planning project and carrying out engineering surveys. The order is valid until 15 February 2027.
Recall that the western bypass project for Vyksa was first prepared by specialists from LLC PI "Volgavatodorproekt" in 2015. In January 2025, the region's Main Directorate of Highways announced a tender to revise the project. The winner of the bidding was JSC "Transmost" from St. Petersburg, which offered to carry out the work for 30.2 million rubles against a starting contract price of 40.9 million rubles.
The new 6.42 km route, including a bridge over the Zheleznitsa River, will connect the Vyksa–Doschatoye and Vyksa–Shimorskoye–Blizhne-Pesochnoye roads.
It was previously reported that the reconstruction project for the road in Gordeevka would be revised.
