The speed of room preparation at the sports and tourist base will increase by 25% thanks to the federal project "Labor Productivity".

      Experts from the Regional Center of Competencies (RCC), together with employees of the branch of LLC SB "More Sporta" from the Gorodetsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, summed up the preliminary results of implementing the tools of the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" at the sports and tourist base.

      Specialists from the Regional Center of Competencies work at enterprises participating in the federal project for six months. After three months an Information Day is held, at which RCC experts summarize the work and present plans for the second part of the project.

      The company specializes in providing short-term accommodation and hosting sporting events.

      According to the Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Maxim Cherkasov, the pilot flow chosen was preparing guests for arrival and comprehensive room servicing (check-in, cleaning, check-out).

      "RCC specialists, together with the working group, analyzed the processes at the company's site and identified 24 bottlenecks, including a lack of automation in the room allocation process, increased time for exit cleaning, and the absence of notifications about changes in bookings. Solutions were proposed for each of these points and an action plan was developed. Implementing the proposals of the RCC specialists and the More Sporta sports base team will reduce process time by 25 percent," said Maxim Cherkasov.

      RCC experts trained 12 company employees in lean technologies, and are now preparing two internal trainers who will later be able to train their colleagues independently.

To date, 294 Nizhny Novgorod companies are working on implementing lean technologies with state support.

      The national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy," initiated by President of Russia Vladimir Putin, is the main instrument for forming a new growth model. It includes federal projects aimed at developing small and medium-sized businesses, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, low-carbon development, and developing the state system of statistics and forecasting.
