      One of the teenagers who beat a man to death in Avtozavod has been arrested.

      According to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod", the regional court press service said the Avtozavod District Court issued an order to remand one of the teenagers in custody until and including September 19.

      At the moment the order has not entered into legal force.

      "Materials regarding the second teenager, who has not reached 14 years of age, have not been submitted to the court," the press service added.

      Earlier it was reported that two teenagers — a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl — attacked a man after he refused to share a cigarette with them and to give them his mobile phone. As a result of the beating the victim died.

      The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm that negligently resulted in the victim's death. The progress and results of the investigation will be reported to the head of the agency, Alexander Bastrykin.
