More than 80% of participants in the federal program "SVOy Business" plan to start entrepreneurial activities in sectors such as services, catering, tourism and agriculture. This was reported by the SME Corporation.
Since the initiative began in February this year, almost 300 people from 13 regions of the country have taken part. In 2025 the program will cover 45 subjects of the Russian Federation. Applications can be submitted through the digital platform MSP.RF. The project is being implemented jointly with United Russia and Opora Russia.
According to Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, the state provides comprehensive support to SVO veterans, including through preferential microfinancing. The average rate nationwide is 3.4%, and in some regions — from 1%. Thus, loans at 1% can be obtained from microfinance organizations in Tatarstan and Perm Krai, at 4.5% — in Oryol Oblast, at 5% — in Crimea, and at 5.25% — in Omsk Oblast.
Since the beginning of the year more than 270 million rubles have been raised on such terms. For participants in the special operation there is also a loan security program when no collateral is available. In this case a joint guarantee is provided by regional guarantee organizations and the SME Corporation for up to 90% — for microloans up to 5 million rubles and bank loans up to 50 million.
According to Alexander Isaevich, general director of the SME Corporation, about 40% of projects are in the services sector, 15% — in catering, 11% — in tourism and 7% — in agriculture. Popular directions include opening hotels, cafes, children's spaces and developing farming enterprises.
The project is being implemented particularly actively in the Republic of Dagestan, where participants are launching recreation bases, coffee shops and fast-food cafes. Among unique ideas are a sea diving center and a tourist base for holidays with pets in Primorsky Krai.
One program participant is Alexey Shuichikov, a veteran of four hot spots from Ryazan Oblast. Together with his wife he bakes and sells bakery products. As part of the project he received training, drew up a business plan and registered as an individual entrepreneur.
In addition, veterans are actively interested in creating peasant farmsteads. Areas include poultry, large- and small-ruminant livestock breeding, establishing eco-farms and fishery enterprises.
