      In the evening of August 17 in Nizhny Novgorod, a road traffic accident occurred involving a motorcycle and a truck. This was reported by the press service of the regional office of the State Traffic Inspectorate.

      The accident happened on Kazan Descent, near house No. 8 on Krasnaya Sloboda Street. According to preliminary information, a BMW motorcycle collided with a GAZelle vehicle that was reversing out of an adjacent area.

      The motorcycle was being ridden by a 28-year-old man. He was injured and taken to the N. A. Semashko Hospital.

      State Traffic Inspectorate officers are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the incident.

      Earlier it was reported that a fatal accident involving a motorcyclist occurred on the afternoon of August 14 in Bor.
