A man from Nizhny Novgorod proposed to his girlfriend at a concert on City Day.

      During a festive concert (6+) on City Day on August 16, a young man, Timofey, proposed to his beloved, Yana. It happened during a performance by singer Natalia Ivanova in Nizhny Novgorod's "Switzerland" park.

      The artist wrote on her social media that she paused the concert for a moment when an audience member came onto the stage with a bouquet of flowers and a ring box. He invited the young woman onto the stage, knelt on one knee and asked for her hand and heart. The woman answered "Yes."

      According to Natalia Ivanova, it was an unexpected and very touching moment for her. She noted that it was the first time she had witnessed such an event during her performance.

      "Timofey and Yana, may this day remain in your hearts forever! To all the audience, I wish the same bright, pure and inspiring love," the singer said.

      Earlier it was reported that singer Stas Piekha injured his leg and tailbone during a performance (6+) at the City Day event in the Leninsky district.
