Nizhny Novgorod "Ruspolimet" has established the production of gas turbine parts for GTD-110M.

      Nizhny Novgorod. August 7. NTA-Privolzhye – Nizhny Novgorod “Ruspolymet” has established the production of gas turbine components GTD-110M. According to the press service of the Industry Development Fund, the “Ruspolymet” group of companies set up the manufacture of ring parts for high-capacity gas turbines GTD-110M at the Kulebaki Metallurgical Plant in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The investment in the project reached 822 million rubles, of which 651.5 million rubles was provided as a preferential loan under the “Components” program by the Federal Fund for Industrial Development. The company has mastered serial production of large rings with diameters up to 4.5 meters and weights up to 3 tons. The main customer is the Yaroslavl-based “ODK-Saturn” enterprise, where the turbines themselves are produced. Previously, the turbine housing was assembled from dozens of small rings joined together, which increased the number of welds and bolted connections. Solid, large-sized blanks will reduce the number of joints, improve the reliability of components, and simplify assembly. The plant's capacity allows for the annual production of up to 460 ring products. Additionally, the company produces rings for shut-off valves, pipelines, bearings, separators, and turntables, using profiles, rods, forgings, and ingots made from Russian carbon, stainless, and heat-resistant steels, as well as corrosion-resistant alloys. Production is fully localized.
