      Nizhny Novgorod residents are not informed about possible drone attacks to avoid panic. Regional Emergency Situations Department head Valery Sinkov told "Ъ-Privolzhye."

      According to Sinkov, regional authorities do not use mass notification systems during drone threats: no alerts are sent out, and sirens are not activated. This decision was made to prevent unnecessary public concern.

      At the same time, information is promptly conveyed to responsible personnel at enterprises and in municipalities within an hour of receiving threat data.

      Sinkov acknowledged that some safety measures, such as temporarily disabling mobile internet, do create inconveniences for residents but are an unavoidable necessity. The Emergency Situations Department emphasizes that all security decisions are made by an operational headquarters under the governor.
