      Society A section of Cherepninskogo Lane in Nizhny Novgorod has been closed to vehicular traffic. The restrictions are related to excavation work.

      According to the city transport department, traffic is halted on the segment between Alekseevskaya and Osharskaya streets. The restrictions will be in effect until 23:59 on August 31.

      Drivers are advised to use alternative routes and bypass the work area via neighboring streets.

      Motorists are reminded to exercise caution and pay attention to temporary road signs.

      It is also noted that major road closures in the center of Nizhny Novgorod are scheduled until August 24 inclusive, due to preparations for and celebrations of City Day. The restrictions will affect Minin Square, Georgievsky Descent, as well as sections of Minin, Ulyanov, Varvarskaya, and Alekseevskaya streets.

      Earlier reports indicated that Malaya Pokrovskaya Street will remain closed until the end of 2025.
