      Economy: A project proposing subsidies to transport companies to compensate interest rates on loans has been reintroduced for public discussion in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Information about this is posted on the official portal of the regional government.

      The initiator of the document is the Ministry of Transport and Automotive Roads of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The goal of the project is to provide financial support to freight transportation enterprises, as well as to stabilize and strengthen their economic position.

      The development of the document is part of the implementation of the departmental project "Development of Transport Infrastructure," which is included in the state program "Development of the Transport System of the Nizhny Novgorod Region." This program was approved by the regional government resolution No. 303 dated April 30, 2014.

      The period for the regulatory impact assessment will last until August 19, 2025.

      It was previously reported that freight transportation in the Nizhny Novgorod region is planned to be elevated to a new level of safety.
