The Labor Inspection of the Nizhny Novgorod Region identified violations concerning women working at a strip club in the Volga capital and mandated the management to formalize their employment contracts. This was stated in an informational message from the department’s press service on their Telegram channel.
The inspection was conducted as part of oversight of organizations collaborating with self-employed individuals. Among other entities, the inspection also checked LLC "Barin Club," located at.
It was found that the club on the Nizhnevolzhskaya Embankment was formalizing employment relationships with the performers through civil law contracts, which is not compliant with labor legislation requirements.
As a result of the inspection, the employer was issued an official order to correct the violations. The club is now required to sign labor contracts with eight female employees serving as "actresses," the message states.
Ilya Moshes, the Chief State Labour Inspector for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, noted that the department will continue interacting with the club until the workers' rights are fully restored and cases of illegal labor are eliminated.
Earlier, it was reported that a construction company in Nizhny Novgorod owed its employees over 21 million rubles.
