Sport. The well-known Russian mixed martial arts fighter Anatoly Kondratyev has undergone surgery at a clinic in Nizhny Novgorod.
As orthopedic surgeon Aleksey Krupko explained, during the operation, a fragment of the talus bone was extracted from the athlete's ankle joint. He also demonstrated this fragment.
According to Aleksey Nikonov, chief editor of the medical IA "Stacionar-press," the surgery was performed using a minimally invasive method—through two small incisions. The procedure went without complications, and the injury was fully treated. After a recovery course, Kondratyev plans to return to sports.
