SocietyDelegates from 12 countries around the world studied digital tools for modern educators in a multicultural educational environment.

Participants in the international project "Summer Institute for Young Teachers and Researchers" departed from Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University named after N.A. Dobrolyubov for a scheduled program of travels through the regional capitals of Russia.

As part of the internship module "Digital Tools for Modern Educators in a Multicultural Educational Environment," the delegation from 12 countries was warmly hosted by NGLU partner Innopolis University, renowned as a center of educational and innovative technologies in IT and robotics.

"The 'Summer Institute' project continues to promote modern educational technologies aimed at creating an international community of professionals. In Innopolis, young teachers and researchers learned about new digital tools that they will be able to apply in their work in the future. This is very important for them, as modern technologies are essential today to establish an effective educational process," noted Nikita Avralev, acting rector of Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University named after N.A. Dobrolyubov.

At Innopolis University’s site, a lineup of three practical blocks was presented:

      - "Service for creating interactive content" (Joyteka),

      - "Natural language processing services, speech recognition and synthesis, neural networks" (Perplexity, AI Transcription, Tutor AI, Tome),

      - "Tools and services for independent work" (online boards sBoard, GetLocus, processing environment YouGile).

It is worth noting that the project participants also familiarized themselves with the infrastructure of the educational organization and learned more about the history of the creation and development of the youngest city in Russia’s modern history during an excursion program.

According to the young specialists themselves, the educational block at Innopolis University deepened their knowledge in information technology, including artificial intelligence.

During the three-day stay in Kazan, young teachers and researchers visited the Kazan Kremlin and its main tourist gem — the Kul-Sharif Mosque, the Old Tatar Settlement; they strolled along Baumana Street, the city’s main pedestrian artery, and even took boat rides on Lake Kaban and sampled elements of national cuisine: chak-chak and echpochmak.

The next internship site of the Summer Institute, "Scientific and Cultural Intercivilizational Diplomacy in the Context of Global Leadership," will take place in the capital of the Republic of Mordovia, Saransk, at the N. P. Ogarov Mordovian State University.

It is reminded that the project is implemented under the state assignment of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation with the comprehensive support of the Federal State Autonomous Scientific Institution "Sociological Research Center" ("Sociocenter").

In 2025, for the third consecutive year, Dobrolyubov University acts as the flagship federal platform operator of the international immersion project "Summer Institute for Young Teachers and Researchers" in the field of "Social Sciences."
