
"Health Trains" will visit eight districts of Nizhny Novgorod in August.

In August, doctors from the "Health Train" will see residents in 12 districts of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and 8 districts of Nizhny Novgorod. Mobile diagnostic complexes are staffed by therapists, cardiologists, oncologists, gynecologists, and doctors from other specialties. Medical teams working in four "mobile clinics" are based at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Hospital named after Semashko.
Specifically, from August 4 to 8, the "Health Train" diagnostic complexes will serve patients in the Pervomaysky and Vorotynsky urban districts, Gorky municipal district, as well as in the Moscow and Leninsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod.
From August 11 to 14, medical staff will visit Diveyevsky, Spassky, Sokolsky municipal districts, as well as the Kanavinsky and Sormovsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod.
From August 18 to 22, trips are scheduled to the Arzamassky urban district, Sergachsky, Koverninsky municipal districts, as well as the Autozavodsky and Nizhny Novgorod districts of the city.
From August 25 to 28, the "Health Trains" will operate in the Borsky district, Dальnekонstantinovsky and Buturlinsky municipal districts, as well as in the Soviet and Kstovo districts of Nizhny Novgorod.
Recall that the "Health Train" project has been implemented since 2018 at the initiative of the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin. The operation of mobile diagnostic complexes allows achieving the goals outlined in the new national project "Long and Active Life".

The "Long and Active Life" national project was launched across the country from 2025 by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin. It aims to increase life expectancy by 2030 and involves updating outpatient clinics, polyclinics, feldsher-midwife stations, attracting more qualified medical personnel, applying new approaches in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic diseases, improving emergency medical services and rehabilitation systems, developing a network of national research centers, and digitalization of the industry.
The national project includes 11 federal initiatives: "Health for Everyone," "Modernization of Primary Healthcare," "Medical Personnel," "Fight Against Cardiovascular Diseases," "Fight Against Oncology," "Fight Against Diabetes," "Fight Against Hepatitis and Minimizing Disease Spread Risks," "Improving Emergency Medical Care," "Development of Federal Medical Organizations, including the expansion of the national research centers network," "National Platform 'Health'," and "Optimal Medical Rehabilitation for Health Restoration."
