Incidents
In Nizhny Novgorod, bailiffs closed an illegal "pouring" establishment in the Avtozavodsky district. The venue was located in a residential building and had long caused dissatisfaction among local residents, reported the regional FSSP (Federal Bailiff Service).
People complained about constant noise at night, fights, and rude behavior from visitors. An inspection confirmed that the café was indeed selling alcohol without a license.
The police recorded the violation, drew up a protocol, and forwarded the materials to the court. The court ordered the suspension of the venue's activities.
After the decision came into effect, the bailiffs quickly enforced the ruling — the café ceased operations.
Recall that from April 1, 2024, a law is in effect allowing regional authorities to impose additional restrictions on alcohol sales, particularly in catering establishments in multi-apartment buildings and on adjacent territories. The Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region is actively discussing tightening the ban on "pouring" establishments.
