From February to April 2025, an unidentified individual illegally connected a mining rig to the electrical networks in a residential building on Lesnaya Street in the village of Tetyushi to support the operation of cryptocurrency platforms. This was reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
As a result of his actions, unaccounted electricity consumption was recorded amounting to over 1 million rubles.
