Reader of NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" drew attention to earthworks in Pushkin Park in the Sovetsky district. She shared with the editorial office a photo taken there recently.
The photo shows shallow ditches. According to the city resident, they appeared in the park on Belinsky Street.
The news agency contacted the Sovetsky district administration for clarification. They said that the work is related to the installation of surveillance cameras. The timeframe for the work is not specified.
Earlier, it was reported that the regional center plans to implement a software system that will allow integrating data from "Safe City" surveillance cameras into a Unified Transport Management Platform.
We also reported that in the Volga capital, a few more cameras will be installed by the end of the year for "dedicated lanes."
