      The restoration deadlines for the estate of M.N. Shchelokov, located in the historic center of Nizhny Novgorod on Studenaya Street, 10 lit. B, have been officially determined.

      According to Order No. 31, signed by the head of the Department of State Protection of Cultural Heritage Objects of the Nizhny Novgorod Region on July 31, 2025, the restoration of the cultural heritage site will proceed in several stages.

      By June 4, 2026, the owner is obliged to receive the assignment for conservation work. The development of project documentation for the building's restoration must be completed by June 4, 2027.

      All restoration activities are to be completed no later than June 4, 2029.

      Supervision of the owner's compliance with these obligations regarding the cultural heritage monument will be carried out by the relevant authorities, according to the document.

      Earlier, the Nizhny Novgorod administration outlined plans to resettle the Shchelokov estate: the building has been officially declared emergency. It was also reported that the authorities of Nizhny Novgorod plan to resettle several emergency buildings in the Nizhny Novgorod district between 2025 and 2027.
