The FSB detained Ilya Khalturin after his release from pre-trial detention.

      Incidents Former CEO of JSC "Teploenergo" Ilya Halturin, who had been in custody since July of last year, was released after the maximum allowable period of detention in the pre-trial detention center expired. This was reported by Kommersant-Privolzhye.

      Relatives were waiting for Halturin outside the detention center. However, he did not have time to spend even five minutes with them. He was immediately detained by FSB officers, then brought to the investigator, and later to the Moscow District Court.

      The court chose a new measure of restraint for Halturin in the form of remand. Thus, the former executive is again under arrest — now until September 22. Apparently, new episodes have been added to the criminal case as part of the investigation.

      Recall that Ilya Halturin was detained in July 2024. He was charged with abuse of official power during the modernization of the Nagornaya heat plant.

      According to investigators, Halturin signed contracts with LLC "TeploenergoRemont NN," a subsidiary of JSC "Teploenergo," which allegedly resulted in damages of 8 million rubles. The accused himself does not admit guilt.
