      The State Duma is considering the possibility of a complete ban on free education for migrant children in general education schools from grades 1 to 11. The revised inter-faction initiative will be presented to the State Duma for review. This was reported by Deputy Yaroslav Nilov.

      He stated that foreign children should receive paid education, regardless of age and grade, and that the number of attempts to pass the Russian language proficiency test will be limited to three.

      In an interview with the "360" TV channel, Nilov noted that, at the moment, it is important to keep the nerves of both Russian teachers and foreign children, who find studying the Russian language difficult. Therefore, it is proposed to send children who do not pass the testing to study in their home country or to provide specialized paid programs for learning.

      He also emphasized that all additional funds allocated for the education of migrant children should be directed towards rewarding teachers. In his opinion, this will help ensure a proper education for Russian children, as the presence of children who do not speak Russian in schools lowers the overall level of education.

      Currently, the bill is being reviewed by lawyers and linguists and will be submitted to the State Duma for consideration.
