      The Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Evgeny Lyulin, visited the Kuybyshev collective farm in the Gorodetsky district, where he took part in the traditional First Sheaf Day celebration. He shared this in his Telegram channel.

      "Today I sat behind the steering wheel of a combine harvester. Remembered my youth. I can say that everything has changed in half a century. Except for the responsibility for my work," Lyulin wrote.

      He also emphasized that the holiday is not official, but for the local residents, the event holds great significance. Lyulin added that he visits the collective farm annually and plans to continue the tradition because he considers it important to support true rural workers.

      According to the speaker of the Nizhny Novgorod Legislative Assembly, love for rural labor must be instilled from childhood. He mentioned being impressed by the children’s interest at the celebration: they eagerly watched the machinery and already understand agricultural crops.

      As noted by the chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod Legislative Assembly, farms like the Kuybyshev collective farm are the key to a stable future not only for the village but for the entire region.
