Another large humanitarian aid shipment from the Nizhny Novgorod region has been delivered to the frontlines of the special military operation. The total weight of the dispatched aid exceeded 65 tons. This was reported by the ANO "House of National Unity."

According to the region's governor, Gleb Nikitin, the assistance is directed to units stationed in the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as in Zaporizhzhia, Kursk, and Belgorod regions. The cargo included equipment requested by the servicemen themselves: drones of the "Mavic" type, FPV drones, optical sights, and materials for setting up field accommodations.

Additionally, large transport vehicles such as "ZIL" trucks, UAZ "buhanka" vans, "Niva" vehicles, three crossover motorcycles, and the robotic tracked platform "Molot" were delivered to the zone of the special military operation. Representatives of the military support coordination center met with residents of Nizhny Novgorod to discuss support measures and took reports into account.

The humanitarian convoy was accompanied by representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod government, employees of the Russian Defense Ministry, and specialists from the coordination center based at the House of National Unity. They handed over equipment, construction materials, and transport to the units where Nizhny Novgorod servicemen serve.

As part of the regional interdepartmental commission formed to support participants of the SVO and their families, Minister of Internal Regional and Municipal Policy Pavel Karasev and his deputy Dmitry Grachyov held personal meetings with soldiers. During these discussions, issues related to payments, land allocations, and other support measures were addressed. Some problems were resolved on the spot, while others are being processed.

Pavel Karasev emphasized that direct interaction with servicemen in the SVO zone enhances the effectiveness of assistance provided.

The interdepartmental commission, established at the initiative of the governor, supports both frontline soldiers and their relatives in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The servicemen expressed their gratitude to fellow regioners for their attention and ongoing support. Since the start of the special military operation, over 740 humanitarian convoys have been dispatched from Nizhny Novgorod. The total volume of delivered cargo exceeded 4,600 tons, including more than 270 units of equipment.

It was previously reported that Nizhny Novgorod residents completed work on the first two facilities in the newly supported territory in the Donetsk People's Republic.
