      The project to create an educational complex for gifted children in the Bor urban district has increased to 7.09 billion rubles. This amount is now listed in the district's investment program.

      It is worth noting that the school will be located near Lake Bezdonnoye and will become part of a large-scale educational center. According to the project, a four-story academic building with a basement floor is planned. The total area of the building will be approximately 25,600 square meters.

      In addition to the main building, the complex will include two boarding houses — one for 800 students and the other for 600. Construction of sports facilities, a laboratory complex, studios, and workshops, as well as the arrangement of a park zone, is also planned.

      Initially, in 2023, the project's cost was estimated at 5 billion rubles. Later, a contract was signed with the Kazan-based company LLC "Investment Construction Corporation 'Stroyinzhiniring'" for the design and construction of the facilities. The contract amount was about 3.7 billion rubles.

      It was previously reported that the Nizhny Novgorod Development Corporation decided to terminate contracts with the contractor involved in building two schools in the region.
