Incidents. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has instructed an investigation into possible illegal actions by funeral companies in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the press service of the agency.
According to preliminary information, representatives of the organization providing funeral services are demanding money from the relatives of the deceased.
As a result, the investigative bodies of the IC of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region have initiated a procedural check.
Alexander Bastrykin has instructed the head of the regional investigative department, Ayrat Akhmetshin, to report on the progress of the investigation and to provide information on all the arguments presented in the story of the federal TV channel.
It was previously reported that Bastrykin demanded a report due to a scandal involving a migrant’s harassment on a children’s playground in Bork.
