Nizhny Novgorod's "Pari NN" aims to enter the top 10 teams of the Russian Premier League.

      The management of the football club "Pari Nizhny Novgorod" organized a press conference on the eve of the start of the new Russian Premier League season. The event was attended by head coach Alexey Shpilevskiy, club director David Melik-Gusaynov, and sporting director Alexander Udaltsov. The main topics were the team’s ambitions, transfer policy, and changes in gameplay approach.

      David Melik-Gusaynov believes that "Pari NN" will become a fully-fledged RPL club, overcoming all difficulties. The general director of "Pari NN" set the goal for the season to reach the top ten of the league standings.

      Alexey Shpilevskiy noted that in just three weeks of preseason training, the team has already undergone transformations. The new coach emphasized that the key objective for the season is to secure a place in the TOP-10 of the RPL. To achieve this, the club needs to strengthen its squad in a way that aligns with its playing vision.

      “I don’t like to make promises, but we want to develop the club, to see more dynamism and unpredictability in the game. But again, everything takes time,” said Shpilevskiy.

      The philosophy of the new coach is to act actively at any phase of the game. Shpilevskiy noted that the players are motivated and enjoy being involved in the process.

      According to the coach, the club needs to expand its squad depth. Player selection will be conducted considering the style of play and the overall philosophy of the team. He highlighted the importance of competition, which, in his opinion, makes everyone stronger.

      Regarding transfers, the club’s sporting director, Alexander Udaltsov, also expressed his views.

      “We approach strengthening the squad thoroughly. We want to minimize mistakes and are very meticulous about this process. We have a preliminary agreement with Dynamo Moscow regarding Lesovoy; we haven’t hidden that there is interest. Diabi is also on our list, as well as several other players for this position, but it’s too early to say whether the deal will happen,” Udaltsov said.

      By the way, the club announced a three-year contract with midfielder Daniil Lesovoy on July 17 on its social media channels.

      Udaltsov also commented on the situation with Juan Boselli. According to him, the sides agreed to revisit the matter in the summer. Currently, there are no official offers, but interest in the player remains. If suitable transfer options do not materialize, the club is ready to discuss contract extension.

      It was previously reported that "Pari NN" will play its first match of the new season in Kazan, where the Nizhny Novgorod team will compete against Krasnodar.
