The mobile technopark "Quantorium" from Sarov in the Nizhny Novgorod region became one of the winners of the All-Russian competition organized by the Russian Ministry of Education. The organization received a grant of 2 million rubles for the implementation of the interregional project "Path of Heroes: From the Half-Ton to Modernity."

The project aims to foster patriotic education among children and teenagers, as well as to develop technical creativity. Out of 100 applications submitted from across the country, only 26 initiatives were selected as winners, including Sarov's "Quantorium." The competition was held as part of the federal project "We Are Together," which is part of the National Project "Youth and Children."

According to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod region, schoolchildren aged 7 to 18 from the Nizhny Novgorod region and the Donetsk People's Republic will participate in the project. The program includes both in-person and remote events: master classes, workshops, and meetings on patriotic topics.

Special attention will be given to studying history and technical creativity. Younger students will learn to assemble models of military equipment from constructors, while older teenagers will participate in workshops on 3D modeling of the legendary vehicle from the Great Patriotic War — the "half-ton."

Mikhail Puchkov, Minister of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod region, highlighted the importance of such initiatives: "Interregional projects with a patriotic focus are extremely important for youth development. They help children better understand their country's history, feel the unity of peoples, and realize their role in the future of Russia. The 'Path of Heroes' project will serve as a platform for exchanging experiences, strengthening friendship, and shaping patriotic values."

According to the project authors, the idea of the "Path of Heroes" is inspired by the themes of the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Sergey Rybiy, director of the Center for New Forms of Education Development, emphasized that historical memory is a living link between generations.

Note that the national project "Youth and Children" is being implemented by presidential order and will launch in 2025.
