Restorers are restoring the appearance of the Sheremetyev estate office in Pavlovo.

      Society In Pavlovo, Nizhny Novgorod Region, restoration of a historic building — the former manor office of the Sheremetev counts — continues. It is located at 8a Lunacharsky Lane. This was reported by IA "Vremya N."

      The regional Ministry of Culture clarified that the work on repairing the water supply and sewerage systems has been completed. Additionally, new floors have been poured in the basement rooms.

      Currently, the contractor is restoring the facade, roofing, and internal ceilings. The specialists are also preparing window and door openings for restoration.

      "At the same time, during the repair and restoration work, additional tasks were identified — the building's foundation needs reinforcement," the regional Ministry of Culture specified.

      Before the restoration began, the building housed a knife museum, and as emphasized by the department, its functional purpose will be maintained after all restoration work is completed.

      Earlier, it was reported that a 19th-century estate located in the village of Kurmysh, Pileninsky District, Nizhny Novgorod Region, was put up for auction for 1 ruble.
