      A non-residential premises housing a milk processing mini-factory in the village of Semino near Kovarnino is planned to be privatized by the Nizhny Novgorod mayor's office, and plots in Lesnoy Resort near Krasny Baki are to be transferred to the region. This information was revealed at a meeting of the permanent commission of the city council on property and land relations, reports NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" correspondent.

      Chairwoman of the city committee for management of city property and land resources, Svetlana Pompaeva, presented a draft of amendments to the forecast privatization plan for 2024–2026.

      She announced that seven new objects in the category of non-residential premises are proposed to be included. Among them is a one-story building of a milk production mini-factory located in Semino village of Kovarnino district.

      According to Pompaeva, the factory was built in 1995 as part of the activity of MP "Teploenergo" and has been under the economic management of the enterprise since then. It was registered as municipal property of Nizhny Novgorod in 2008, and coordination of the object was only completed in 2025.

      The object drew attention after a private individual expressed interest in acquiring it.

      "After that, we coordinated it and included it in the forecast plan (program) of municipal property privatization for 2024-2026," said Pompaeva.

      Additionally, during the meeting, the issue of transferring five land plots in the settlement of Lesnoy Resort to state ownership of the Nizhny Novgorod region was discussed.

      The plots are located in Krasnobakovsky district under buildings that were previously transferred from municipal ownership. According to her, a joint approach to the further use of these objects has been developed with the regional government.

      There are plans to develop tourism in this area, including attracting investors to recreate the previously popular "Lesnoy Resort" tourist base. Currently, these objects are in unsatisfactory condition, and city hall specialists have had to regularly visit the site, marking the hazards with signs and warning tapes.

      The plots border each other, some are located under large buildings. However, the municipality chose not to spend funds on their consolidation.

      The commission deputies supported both proposals.

      It was previously reported that the state enterprise of the Nizhny Novgorod region "Leaders of Sports" auctioned a shed in downtown Nizhny Novgorod.
