      Nizhny Novgorod Region will receive over 186.5 million rubles for the development of tourism infrastructure. The funds will be allocated for the creation of modular hotels as part of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality." This information is contained in the Russian government’s order.

      Funding will be distributed in stages: 7.5 million rubles in 2025, 70.5 million in 2026, and 107.58 million rubles in 2027.

      A total of 55 regions of Russia will receive support. The total federal funding for 2025–2027 will amount to 15 billion rubles.

      At a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, he reminded that over the past three years, 65 regions have already received 20 billion rubles for similar purposes. This has enabled the creation of about 13,000 hotel rooms.

      Subsidies will be provided for investment projects selected through a competition held by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. Overall, the country plans to create more than 10,000 new accommodation facilities for tourists.

      Government support will be directed toward covering expenses related to the purchase and installation of modular, non-capital hotels—such as glamping sites and campsites. These facilities are assembled quickly, easily adapted to the natural environment, and have minimal environmental impact.

      Among the priority areas are the development of tourism in new regions, within special economic zones, and along popular auto tourist routes passing through federal highways M-4 "Don," M-8 "Kholmogory," M-11 "Neva," and M-12 "East."

      It is also noted that at the end of May, construction of the first roadside hotel on the M-12 "East" highway passing through Nizhny Novgorod Region was completed. Additionally, it was announced that in the next three years, ten new modular hotels will appear in the region.
