      Society In the evening of July 14, unfavorable weather conditions persist across the Nizhny Novgorod region and the city itself, with heavy rains expected in some areas. This was reported by the regional EMERCOM department.

      Motorists are advised to exercise utmost caution. Due to rainfall, visibility significantly decreases, and shoulders and dirt roads become muddy and loose. Increased slipperiness of the road surface may lead to skidding and loss of control.

      Special attention should be paid to route selection: avoid low-lying areas and sections prone to flooding.

      Drivers are recommended to reduce speed and stay alert while driving.

      Recall that the previous day, a heavy downpour washed out the soil in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, intended for landscaping the area between Zachatskaya and Georgievskaya towers, and flooded some streets of Nizhny Novgorod.

      Additionally, due to rising water levels in the Autozavodsky main canal, tram tracks near the public transport stop "Hospital No. 23" on Krasnyy Partizan Street were flooded. As a result, routes No. 8 and No. 12 were temporarily suspended.
