New Shift," "Aunt Marta," "Practice"). A single chance encounter will forever change the lives of young Oksana from a humble family and young oligarch Sergey. It all started with a wedding. Tanya, Oksana's sister, is getting married. The wedding day turns into a series of catastrophes — almost everything goes wrong. Tanya's ex-lover even appears at the wedding, and the confident billionaire Sergey proposes to Oksana in front of everyone... Oksana's refusal deeply affects Sergey: "And even if you say 'no' a thousand times, sooner or later you'll still say 'yes'!", he is confident. Director Andrey Silkin: "70% of a film's success is casting and the acting ensemble. We achieved 100% fit for each actor in their roles. I have the impression that we auditioned all of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Some actors came twice because ensemble casting was crucial. Before approving an actor, I always watch their theatrical performances; it’s important for me to see their capabilities both on stage and on screen. Most of our actors are from the Vakhtangov Theatre." Filming took place in Sochi and Moscow. According to Andrey Silkin, the southern city was chosen deliberately because it reflects the characters — they are just as vibrant, passionate, and emotional. However, during filming, the resort location "pleased" the crew with cold weather. Angelina Strechina, who played Tanya: "I'll reveal a big secret — it rained almost throughout the filming. Once, we shot a scene at the pier, and we were literally swept away by the wind in the shot — it was so strong. Another time, I had to swim in the sea on a cold day — the air temperature was only 14 degrees. After that, I was immediately sent to a sauna so I wouldn’t get sick." Ksenia Treyster, who played Oksana, learned to operate a yacht during the project. Ksenia Treyster, playing Tatyana: "The series is about family, simple human feelings — happiness and sadness, falling in love, love in all its forms.
