A city management situational center will be established in Dzerzhinsk.
A city management situational center (SMCC) is planned to be established in Dzerzhinsk based on objective data, as announced by Mayor Mikhail Klinkov, reports the city administration's press service. According to Klinkov, the SMCC will enable optimal decision-making, monitoring of citizen appeals, and effective tracking of indicators, including those related to project and economic activities. The mayor discussed this project with Alexander Sinelobov, the Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Currently, artificial intelligence is actively involved in the "Safe City" system in Dzerzhinsk, which helps monitor public order and city infrastructure. AI also assists in detecting defects on roads and in road infrastructure, such as leaning poles.
"This significantly eases the work of specialized services," explained Klinkov.
He noted that the digital space is increasingly integrated into city life. It allows voting on initiatives of the "You Decide" project, participating in federal, regional, and city programs, and tracking their implementation. The Minister of Digital Development commented that Dzerzhinsk ranks among the leading districts in the "Smart City" program, as it timely and promptly implements pilot projects in the digitalization sphere. This spring, the city took third place in Russia based on public voting for the third National "Smart City" Award in urban digitalization.
