Nizhny Novgorod manufacturer of thermal equipment joined the federal project "Labor Productivity"

      LLC "Ewan" from Nizhny Novgorod became the 290th participant in the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy" in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Experts from the regional competency center (RCC) will implement lean manufacturing tools at the enterprise. The company specializes in the production of heating and water heating equipment. "Ewan" is the first manufacturer of domestic heating and water heating equipment to join the "Labor Productivity" federal project in the Nizhny Novgorod region. RCC experts will work on the company's site for six months. Together with the company's team, RCC specialists will select a pilot flow, analyze processes, and eliminate bottlenecks. The implementation of tools from the "Labor Productivity" federal project will allow reducing manufacturing time without additional costs, increasing efficiency, and improving working conditions for employees," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Simultaneously, employees will undergo training in the basics of lean manufacturing. From 2019 to 2024, this support measure was implemented within the framework of the national project "Labor Productivity," and from 2025 it continues as part of the federal project "Labor Productivity" within the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." Enterprises where lean technologies have already been implemented with government support have increased output by an average of 40%.
