Two women and a 14-year-old girl were injured in a mass traffic accident near Nizhny Novgorod.

      On September 4, 2026, at 17:21, Incidents A mass traffic accident involving four cars occurred in the Dalenekonstantinovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region on the morning of September 4. According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, a 30-year-old Audi driver was distracted and crashed into a Lada Kalina, which was being driven by a 69-year-old woman. After the impact, the Kalina collided with a Lada Vesta driven by a 49-year-old woman. Then the Lada Vesta crashed into a Haval, driven by a 43-year-old man. The 69-year-old Lada Kalina driver was injured—she was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury, a bruise on her right shin, an injury to her left wrist, and wrist joint trauma. The woman was taken to the Semashko Regional Hospital. A 14-year-old girl also sustained injuries. She has blunt abdominal trauma and was taken to the children's regional hospital. Additionally, the 49-year-old Lada Vesta driver was injured. With a traumatic brain injury, she was also taken to the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital. As noted by the State Traffic Inspectorate, the vehicles sustained mechanical damage. The circumstances are being clarified.
