According to the agency, foreign workers are most often employed in construction, manufacturing, industrial enterprises, and agriculture, including crop production and animal husbandry. At the same time, the ministry noted that in recent years, the structure of employment and the number of foreign workers in the region has remained virtually unchanged.

      "The current situation is characterized by the stable preservation of established trends: a steady dominance of industrial employment over agricultural; the absence of volatility in migration flows from the specified countries," the ministry reported.

      It was previously reported that about 60% of migrants come to the region from Uzbekistan.
