Borchans are fined 10,000 rubles for littering.

Borchans are fined 10,000 rubles for littering.

The authorities of the Bor district have installed cameras with a data recognition system, which are used to fine violators 10,000 rubles for littering. This was reported by the district administration. They noted that local residents are sending numerous complaints about overflowing container sites in the yards of apartment buildings and in the private sector. Bags are piled outside the bins, and then they are scattered by dogs and the wind.

Due to the arrival of summer dacha owners and gardeners, the volume of waste has increased several times. In addition to regular household waste, there is old furniture, construction debris from renovations, and cut branches. Furthermore, transit vehicles continue to illegally dump waste near containers, leading to the formation of illegal dumps. The sharp influx creates a burden on the logistics of the regional operator, and special equipment does not always manage to empty the bins regularly.

The administration stated that cameras have been installed to monitor order in the municipality. When violations are recorded, offenders are fined amounts starting from 10,000 rubles. The cameras are already operating in automatic mode, and fines have started to be issued.

The Bor authorities also reminded that construction waste or wood can be taken independently to waste transfer stations near the villages of Tainoe and Glazkovo. Since September 1, the regional waste management operator AO "Sitimatik-NN" has organized the reception of waste, including construction, wood, and other waste from individuals at a price of 4,700 rubles per ton.
