The management of the department will be taken over by the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government, Vladimir Tuzhilin. He will combine both positions. The Ministry of Protection of Facilities in the Nizhny Novgorod Region was established in May. The department is part of the "power block" of Deputy Governor Sergey Polovnikov.
