      At the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-26), VTB My Investments experts drew the attention of private investors to tools that allow participation in the development of Far Eastern projects, from shares of logistics and energy companies to regional bonds and exchange-traded funds. Among the industry benchmarks, analysts highlighted companies associated with the growth of cargo traffic in the eastern direction and infrastructure modernization. The transport group FESCO increased container shipments through the ports of the Far East by 65% in the first half of 2026. "RusHydro" is directing more than 70% of its investment program for 2026, amounting to 390 billion rubles, to Far Eastern projects. Analysts identified bonds from Far Eastern regions, particularly the Amur and Magadan regions, as a more conservative option. For investors not ready to choose a specific issuer, exchange-traded mutual funds focused on the broad market or infrastructure are available. Such a fund includes a basket of shares from large Russian companies, including those from the logistics and energy sectors, and does not require a significant entry threshold. VTB My Investments analysts also reminded about the basic principles of working with regional investment stories: do not invest more than 5-10% of the portfolio in one company, use tax benefits from individual investment accounts (IIA-3), and focus on companies with confirmed revenue growth in their reports.
