This was announced by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, during a meeting on August 28, as reported by RIA Novosti. According to Nikitin, the region is focusing on comprehensive projects in the healthcare sector that should significantly improve the quality of medical care. One of these projects will be a complex that will unite four medical institutions. It will include the first state IVF center, as well as centers for women's, men's, and adolescent health. Special attention is planned to be given to reproductive health issues. It is known that the center for conducting IVF procedures will be created on the basis of the "Family Quarter." The cost of the project, which is being implemented in accordance with the goals of the national project "Family," is estimated at 6 billion rubles, and the construction of the quarter is expected to be completed by 2028.
