Nizhny Novgorod veterans of the SVO are participating in the All-Russian forum "Together We Will Win."

On August 27, 2026, at 14:15 Society A delegation of veterans of the special military operation from the Nizhny Novgorod region has departed for Moscow to participate in the All-Russian forum "Together We Will Win." The large-scale event is taking place on August 27 and 28, 2026, and brings together more than 2,000 defenders from all regions of Russia. The organizers are the State Fund "Defenders of the Fatherland," the "Knowledge" society, and the Moscow city administration. The All-Russian forum "Together We Will Win" aims to support veterans of the special military operation, strengthen spiritual and moral values, and preserve historical memory. For the Nizhny Novgorod veterans, the forum has become an opportunity to exchange experiences with comrades from across the country and participate in discussions on key issues related to the reintegration of military personnel into civilian life. These issues include rehabilitation, employment, adaptation through sports, and involvement in community activities. "The 'Together We Will Win' forum is a living space where every veteran feels: they are not alone. For our guys from Nizhny Novgorod, this is an opportunity to see what real support tools are already working across the country, to find their direction—whether it be sports, mentoring, or community work. We are proud that our veterans are going there for new experiences and returning with new strength and ideas," noted Ekaterina Generalova, head of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund. This year, the forum's program has been significantly expanded. In addition to the business and educational parts, a children's program has been organized for the first time—educational lectures, an exhibition of the First Movement, and workshops for children of special military operation participants. Also, at the forum venues, the fund's partners are presenting the latest technologies in the fields of prosthetics and rehabilitation, opening up new opportunities for veterans to restore their health. The State Fund "Defenders of the Fatherland" was established by the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Its main goal is to provide personal support to veterans of the special military operation and the families of heroes. Specialists and social coordinators of the fund assist defenders not only with medical and social rehabilitation but also in retraining and employment, provide legal support, adapt housing to the needs of disabled individuals, and ensure long-term home care. The fund is headed by State Secretary—Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anna Tsivileva. The fund's branches operate in all regions of Russia.
