      The first batch of modern training equipment has arrived at the Nizhny Novgorod Energy College. The complex "Turbine Equipment of Thermal Power Plants," the virtual stand "Device and Features of Boiler Units of CHPP," the laboratory stand "Starting Schemes of Three-Phase Motors," and others were acquired thanks to participation in the federal project "Professionalism." The equipment will be installed by the beginning of the new academic year, and students, future energy specialists, will begin training on equipment that corresponds to real enterprises. "For us, this is the result of a consistent transformation that the college has undergone in recent years. We preserve all the best that has been developed in the system of vocational education, while moving to a fundamentally different level of equipment and program content. The name 'Nizhny Novgorod Energy College' accurately reflects our specialization and the competencies we are developing in students. Participation in the 'Professionalism' project together with the En+ holding gives us access to advanced technologies, a modern material and technical base, and, most importantly, production experience. This is exactly what the labor market in the energy sector requires today," emphasized the director of the Nizhny Novgorod Energy College, Tatyana Lipina.

      By the way, the college is currently conducting an admissions campaign. Documents from applicants are accepted until August 15. Among the key advantages of choosing energy specialties, applicants note the guarantee of employment for graduates at "En+ Teplo Volga," reliability, stability, and the prestige of the industry. The corporate social policy of En+ is aimed at comprehensive support for employees: education in universities at the company's expense, compensation of up to 90% of costs for children's summer recreation, ensuring continuous development and training at the En+ Corporate University, as well as support for participation in projects aimed at developing management competencies.

      The Nizhny Novgorod Energy College, together with "En+ Teplo Volga," is training specialists in the areas of "Heat Supply and Thermal Equipment," "Electric Stations, Networks and Their Relay Protection and Automation," and others. Next year, the energy cluster will be expanded, and the number of energy educational programs will reach nine. By 2029, it is planned to train more than 200 specialists in nine professions within the cluster.

      "Participation in the implementation of the federal project 'Professionalism' is a strategic investment in the formation of the personnel potential of the energy complex of the region. The key task of the project is to ensure the training of specialists with the necessary practical competencies for effectively solving production tasks. In cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the teaching staff of the college, an educational ecosystem is being built in which the qualifications of graduates meet the current needs of the energy sector," noted the general director of "En+ Teplo Volga," Mikhail Yefimov.

      The arrival of the first batch of equipment signifies the transition from the design stage to the practical implementation of the energy cluster. En+'s investments in the project amounted to over 40 million rubles. The funds are directed towards creating workshops, laboratories, and updating the material and technical base of the college. Training will be conducted with the participation of highly qualified specialists from "En+ Teplo Volga," ensuring close integration of the educational process and real production.

      As emphasized by the Minister of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Mikhail Puchkov, there are currently 16 educational-production clusters successfully operating in the region. By the end of the year, three more sites will be added, and by 2027, their total number will reach 25. In this regard, the region confidently ranks among the top three regions in the country.

      "For the creation of new clusters, the Nizhny Novgorod region is chosen at the federal level due to the high quality of work done and the obvious prospects for the development of the regional system of secondary vocational education. Our region has become a federal-level platform not only because of its powerful industrial base—there is a historically established unique symbiosis of leading industrial giants and a strong educational school. This allows for training specialists for specific tasks in the real sector of the economy: enterprises receive personnel with the necessary competencies without an adaptation period, while graduates are guaranteed employment," noted Minister of Education Mikhail Puchkov.
