      The women's clubs of the Nizhny Novgorod personnel center "Work of Russia" continue to unite the women of the region — from January to August 2026, 200 events were held, with more than 2,000 participants. In the women's clubs, mothers, wives of SVO participants, and women striving for professional growth can receive comprehensive support. The event contributes to achieving the goals set by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, in the national project "Personnel." "Supporting women who strive to realize themselves in their profession, creativity, and public life while remaining guardians of the family is an important part of the region's demographic policy. Women's clubs provide not just knowledge and new competencies; they create an environment of trust where every participant feels supported and gains confidence in their own abilities," emphasized Igor Pantyukhin, the Minister of Demography and Human Capital Development. The pilot women's club opened in Nizhny Novgorod in November 2023. Over three years, the project has grown into an ecosystem of more than 15 spaces and covered the largest municipalities in the Nizhny Novgorod region. In 2025, 232 events were held, reaching 3,300 participants. In 2026, the pace has not slowed down: by August 1, more than 200 meetings have already taken place. More than a thousand participants have joined the official channels of the women's club on digital platforms. "We see how trust in women's clubs is growing, as these meetings truly help women move towards their goals. In the first seven months of this year, nearly 300 participants have found employment, and more than 20 have started their own businesses. Currently, 2,400 women are undergoing training as part of the national project 'Personnel,'" said Elena Vidyaeva, acting director of the Nizhny Novgorod personnel center "Work of Russia." This year, for the first time, the regional competition "Best Women's Club" took place in Nizhny Novgorod. The competition allowed for the evaluation of the clubs' work results in several areas: employment and professional realization of women, support for SVO participants and their families, development of a partnership network, informational support, and engagement of participants. "Women's clubs have established themselves as an effective tool for comprehensive support of women, their professional and personal development, as well as a reliable partner in implementing state tasks," noted the head of the direction, Alena Minlebaeva. The Nizhny Novgorod branch won in three nominations. It was recognized as the "Best Division of the Women's Club in the Region," shared first place with the Kstovo branch in the "PR Leader" nomination, and received the award "Scales of Women's Power." In the "Jobs for SVO Participants" nomination, the winners were the Sergach and Borsky branches. The Uren branch was recognized for the best event for SVO participants and their families. Together with the Vyksa branch, it also won in the "Best Municipality Team" nomination.
