The fate of bus No. 272 in Kstovo will be decided after the contract ends.

      August 12, 2026 15:32 Society A decision on the further operation of route No. 272 "Kstovo (Church) - STC MEGA" will be made after the expiration of the carrier's certificate. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the Center for the Development of Transport Systems of the region. Recall that passengers have complained about regular schedule disruptions, inappropriate behavior of drivers, as well as the fare of 50 rubles. The CRTS explained that an unregulated tariff is in effect on the route. It is serviced by LLC "Kstovo Transport Company" based on the issued certificate, which is valid until December 31, 2026. After this period, the Ministry of Transport will decide whether to transfer the route to a regulated tariff or establish new transportation conditions. The center also named the main reasons for the failure to adhere to the schedule. The current transportation scheme provides for a 20-minute interval. However, due to a shortage of drivers on the line due to vacations and temporary incapacity, as well as technical malfunctions of the transport, disruptions occur. If a bus breaks down, the next scheduled vehicle is sent to the route, and reserve transport is engaged in cases where it is impossible to quickly fix the breakdown. It should be noted that earlier, residents of Kstovo complained about the operation of bus No. 225. As a result, it was replaced with a new route No. 125. A state contract was concluded with the carrier for this direction. It operates under city tariffs, with the cost of one trip being 40 rubles. It was also reported that bus No. 100 between Druzhayeva Street in Nizhny Novgorod and the bus station in Kstovo will be launched if funding is available.
